About Jona
Jona earned her bachelor’s degree at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and her master’s degree at the University of Wollongong in New South Wales, Australia.
In 2003, Jona and her husband moved back to central South Dakota, where they remain today.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Jona has a deep compassion for humankind, which led her to the nonprofit world for the bulk of her career.
